1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid subscription purchases on ShadiMatrix Matrimonial Services ("ShadiMatrix"). By making a payment, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms of Service and Payment Policy.
2. General Refund Policy
ShadiMatrix premium memberships are digital services that are activated immediately upon successful payment. Because benefits are delivered instantly and cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense:
- All subscription fees are generally non-refundable once the plan has been activated on your account.
- We do not provide partial refunds for unused days within an active subscription period.
- Changing your mind, finding matches elsewhere, or dissatisfaction with match results does not qualify for a refund.
3. Exceptions — When Refunds May Be Issued
We may issue a full or partial refund at our sole discretion in the following cases:
- Duplicate payment: You were charged twice for the same subscription — verified duplicate amounts will be refunded within 7–14 business days.
- Payment debited, service not activated: Amount deducted but subscription not activated due to a technical error — contact us within 7 days with transaction proof.
- Unauthorized transaction: Verified fraudulent charge on your account (subject to investigation and gateway rules).
- Account terminated by ShadiMatrix without cause: If we permanently terminate your account for reasons other than your breach of Terms, a pro-rata refund for unused subscription days may be considered.
- Legal requirement: Where a refund is mandated by applicable consumer protection law.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
- Account suspension or termination due to violation of Terms, fake profiles, harassment, or fraud.
- Partial use of premium features (interests sent, chats initiated, contact views used).
- Failure to complete KYC or profile verification after purchase.
- Promotional or discounted plans unless explicitly stated otherwise.
5. Cancellation Policy
Subscription cancellation:
- Since we do not use auto-renewal, there is no recurring charge to cancel. Your plan simply expires on the end date shown in your account.
- You may choose not to renew when your current plan expires — no further action is required.
- Deleting your account does not automatically entitle you to a refund for any remaining subscription period.
Account deletion: You may delete your account at any time from settings or by contacting support@greenyellow-eel-786138.hostingersite.com. Deletion is permanent and does not guarantee a refund.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund under the exceptions above, email support@greenyellow-eel-786138.hostingersite.com or use our Contact Page within 7 days of the transaction with:
- Registered email and mobile number
- Transaction/payment ID and date
- Amount paid and payment method
- Description of the issue
- Screenshots or bank statement evidence (if applicable)
7. Refund Processing Timeline
Approved refunds are initiated within 7 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or payment provider, credited amounts may take an additional 5–14 business days to reflect in your account. Refunds are processed to the original payment method wherever possible.
8. Plan Downgrades & Upgrades
Upgrading to a higher plan mid-cycle may require payment of the difference or full new plan price as displayed at checkout. Downgrading does not entitle you to a refund of the difference for the current billing period.
